Deb Leyh

 

Deb is an active alpine, rock, and ski mountaineering guide with SMI. Deb’s mountaineering resume includes expeditions to Mt. McKinley, Aconcagua, Mexico's Volcanoes and Kilimanjaro in addition to guiding in the Sierras since 2003. Deb is also a guide on Mt. Rainier where she currently has 40+ ascents.

Her certifications include AAIRE AVALANCHE LEVEL I & II; AAIRE Level I Instructor Training; WFR/CPR; LNT; PSIA Level I Nordic Instructor: and she has completed the AMGA Rock Instructor Course with the intent of pursuing the AMGA Rock and/or Alpine Certifications.

In addition to being an active climber and mountaineer Deb has also competed in many triathlons in the United States and abroad.

When not guiding Deb enjoys bike running, skiing, and rock climbing.
